Honestly if you like a busy atmosphere then this job is for you. The public sucks, usually there is a middle aged person yelling about the wait or accusing you of messing up and order they didn't say correctly.
Pros
Free lunches
Cons
Rude customers, low pay

I loved working at Starbucks; not only because of the fun fast paced environment, but the people I worked with were great. Everyone was very supportive and considerate of each other. The benefits were REALLY good! I worked during the whole corona pandemic fiasco and I have never felt so cared for as an employee. Corporate did everything to make sure that we each had what we needed to face the day.

I really enjoyed working for Starbucks. I like their training and the recipes so we can ensure to make all drinks the same every time! Great management and staff. Great place for a SAHM for part-time work or students of all ages.

While doing my training, my coworkers and manager were very encouraging and helpful. I had a blast getting to know the customers and learning the routine. But I haven't been able to get my pay check. It has been over a year since I've worked there and I have yet to receive my paycheck.
Pros
3 free items per shift
Cons
still no paycheck

It was pretty clear that Starbucks once offered amazing benefits and opportunities to its employees (partners), but as the company has grown to the massive level that it is now, they started "trimming the fat". Lower employee benefits, with increased expectations and work loads.

basic supervisor role while providing CS and coffee to customer. Typically you end up working a normal time frame. I ended up having the open crew and morning rush which was enjoyable from a work load standpoint, eventually you get use to waking up at 3/330/4 to open up. the job is structured and repetitive

Come in do your hourly jobs or assignments and tend to the customers. We have to deep clean every closing shift. You may get a rude customer or a secret menu drink but we never decline

A typical day would usually start for me around rush (7am or so), this was very hectic but we all had an efficient routine to make this go by as smooth as possible. All throughout the day we clean everything as we go and we constantly brewed new coffee. Everyone was very diverse and I loved my coworkers, everyone made it enjoyable to be at work.

The good part about working at Starbucks was seeing and meeting new people everyday. Also, fulfilling the purpose why they came to Starbucks; furthermore, watching them leave with a smile on their face was the most important thing to me.
The bad part working at Starbucks was the location which was downtown Pittsburgh.

From the management to my typical work day, I very much enjoyed working at Starbucks. Each manager I had encountered at different locations other than my main one were all great. I worked with energetic, kind people, and I always enjoyed serving customers (especially my regulars). A typical day consists about 6-8 hours of work, rushes of customers in the morning and afternoon, and it's normally non-stop. I learned a great deal of patience, multi-tasking skills, and my customer service and communication skills improved so much. The hardest part of the job are of course the busiest days when we have rushes of customers, but as a team we push through it. The most enjoyable part of the job has to be helping the customers, and my coworkers come a close second.

Very friendly and clean, they go above the standards most places do. I was having pregnancy complications and had to lay out of work until I gave birth and I was promised a job to come back to, and I tried to come back and they said I couldn’t come back due to them not needing anymore help even though an employee that currently worked there said they needed help.

My store has severely shift managers come to the store when it was holiday time or needed someone to fill in. Most can be very lenient and other strict, go by the book. Coworkers were the best and it’s a very diverse staff.

Free online college through Arizona State University, hours were not very flexible though. Free drinks are nice, free food was delicious. Management definitely picked favorites though

Starbucks has a lot of great benefits, but the it is more demanding than most people will think. You have to be able to pick up on making drinks rather fast as well as be able to multi-task.

It's not a bad company, just not the greatest management. They have helped employees in many ways as fsr as not going hungry, free coffee, and getting disaster pay. There are many other benefits that are good too.

During my time with this Company I grew as a person to help overcome some issues as a combat Veteran. They strive to make Starbucks the Third Home for the customer.
