If you were in charge, what would you do to make Domino's a better place to work?
Having a better system in place for daily shifts. People call out, not a huge deal. But to put that burden solely on the GM is the best way to burn good strong employees out
Because of the lack of staff and untrained employees, I feel overwhelmed and over worked. You have to be there when they NEED YOU, but you can’t make over time. It’s sometimes confusing.
All Domino’s team members have access to a 401(k) savings plan with company match, a discounted employee stock purchasing program, basic life insurance, adoption benefits, and Partners – a Domino’s support foundation created to assist any Domino’s Pizza team member worldwide in times of tragedy or special need.
In addition, full-time team members have access to a full suite of health and welfare benefits including: medical, vision, dental, voluntary benefits and supplemental life and disability coverage – all effective on your date of hire. No waiting period or expensive COBRA payments.
The interview process at Domino's will differ based on the position.
For store level candidates, applications will be reviewed, and qualified candidates will be contacted by the General Manager of the location that they applied. Candidates will be invited to interview in-person, and asked a series of job related questions. Candidates will hear back within a few days (if not sooner) with the hiring decision.
For corporate applicants, an electronic application will be submitted, and qualified candidates will be contacted for an initial pre-screen conducted over the phone to discuss basic qualifications. If candidates are selected to move forward, they may be invited for an onsite interview at the headquarters in Ann Arbor, and/or another telephone interview might be conducted, this time with the hiring manager to further discuss specifics of the role. Hiring decisions are typically communicated within one week of the final step in the interview process. Candidates will hear back from the recruitment team either way.
I heard tips were good at this location so I just walked in, told them of experience and was hired on the spot.
