The reason I left this job was because of management. I am a woman of color and one of the male managers and his family that worked there called me colored. Also another manager wasn't very understanding for things that popped up because of people that would use that as a chance to go to parties or different things. I had school things that popped up and it became a small problem for me.

Many people choose chick-fil-a as a first time job so there are many people you have to be patient with. The company cares about the employees and the costumers very much.
Pros
They prioritize employees
Cons
Not much room for advancement because there are so many people that work at once

Literally the worst job I’ve ever had. You’re over worked and there’s no benefits. They don’t really care about their staff or anything. Almost was about to pass out and they still wouldn’t give me a water.

The day to day work was dull and repetitive, but my coworkers kept it interesting with conversation. The work environment is open and laid back, but always focused on the customers' impressions came first.

I think the company was good but the leadership puts too much on one person especially when i was still in highschool. All in All these are franchises so do your research.

The facilities, working environment, and culture or Chick-fil-A are positive and reassuring to both Team members and Team Leaders, however, the management staffing and directors of the restaurant are often alienating and unhelpful in times of restaurant or personal need.
Pros
employee meals, flexible hours, positive environment
Cons
poor management, health care, skewed manager priorities

This store at Seven Corners, Falls Church, VA is on top of their game but management were not good. They don’t pay you well and you don’t get free meals on your break. Only management get free meals. Racism and discrimination also a factor that this location is not good for people of color. Lots of drama between management and employees. Very stressful job. High turnover. Good for first job experience.

The managers were a bit strict despite it being my first job and first time ever doing anything like this but i was able to keep up and perform just like everyone else. Unfortunately the smells of all the foods really got to me and i couldn't work there for long.

Chick-fil-A is a great place to work. Sometimes managers can be frustrating but other than that there are absolutely no issues. Everyone is friendly, and as long as you do your job everything is fine.

It’s a great job! I had a great experience working there and I never felt the need to quit. You need to be able to lift about a 20lbs box because you need to refill the sauce buckets.

A typical day at Chick-Fil-A includes taking lots of orders, running food out to customers, helping out your co-workers because it gets very busy. Management is really good they always work along side you which makes them not seem as if they are above you. The best thing about the job is the culture everyone is so nice its such a happy place to work. The hardest part of the job is the long lines of people it can be very high maintenance.

They look down upon the entry level staff. The managers are only worried about their appearance to the corporate. Don't take into consideration what the team members and Team Leaders want to improve in the store, instead assume what needs to be fixed since they don't actually work at the location.

This job taught me so much: prioritization, teamwork, customer interaction, and more. I genuinely enjoy coming to work and there is lots of opportunity for further teaching and advancement. If you work drive-thru it can get hot during the summer, but managers work to ensure we stay safe and hydrated. Overall, I'd highly recommend Chick-fil-a to anyone interested.

Very good job loved all the people I worked with. The owner and managers are super nice as well. Be ready to work in a fast paced environment. But it is always fun with the employees.

Chick Fil A is the best fast food place to work at, the management and leadership are all really kind and helpful. I worked there for about a year and a half after I graduated high school and I enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this for starting the work force!

Customer service is important, but employees are just as important also. I feel like this company didn’t really take employees into consideration, the hours were ridiculous, and labor was hard. Employees had to stand outside in harsh weather for long hours, and when it was brought to managers attention, it was brushed off or some managers got attitudes with employees.
